so whatever she was gasping about has not weight on Twilight talking about Hatless...things....

so maybe... they are talking about Canterlot ponies who DO wear hats
and the first bit was about how naked Canterlot ponies would look with out their standard cloths, and Flutters can not handles what they would look like
then Twiggers goes for the kill and mentions how MORE naked they would be with out hats!

I think a few things when I see this
First-
Rarity just absolutely HATES the ULTRA RAD in the title of her shop
She is a fashionista and a trend setter
As a designer, she has to make items that Transend time
Having dated vernacular on her shop title is a Nightmare
Second-
in relation to the first image
because of reasons
no one is buying cloths
as such her investment into a new location tanked her income

I've seen panel #1, so I can't say anything as that would be cheating.

In Panel #2, Rarity is upset because either she doesn't know what a "threadery" is, or she KNOWS it's something (she thinks is) terrible.
