I am really hoping Sludge is not Spike's real father but instead is connected to Spike's actual parents and what happened to them.
Since having someone like Sludge be Spike's real father would be such a let down.
Like there is quite alot of potential on just how Spike's parents are and Sludge is just.. bleh.

And also saying Sludge is Spike's real father would make Father's Knows Beast awkward since why did it reveal he was just faking it to take advantage of Spike if he was Spike's dad this whole time?
Really, Father's Knows Beast was a lose-lose situation for Spike. Since even if Sludge was Spike's actual dad, it would be a major let down since Sludge looks so unfitting and such.
Only way FKB would have been done right is have Sludge be providing a key clue on what happened to Spike's actual parents and where are they for a future episode.
