Greetings, everyone! This is Mr. J back with more The Owl House content! This afternoon, I will be reviewing the nineteenth episode of season 2 entitled: “O Titan, Where Art Thou”. We are now only two episodes away from the season finale and only two days left until the Day of Unity commences. Boy, do I feel a little sad because of that. Amphibia is ending tonight, and there are only five overall episodes left for The Owl House. I’m gonna miss both of these shows as they come to their respective conclusions (although I feel more pity for this show thanks to Disney mercilessly cutting it short). *Sigh* Anyway, this episode was both amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. It had some emotional moments, a painful conflict, and heartwarming moments.

This episode has Eda and Luz scrambling around in light of the upcoming Day of Unity while King faces his true identity as a Titan. This was a solid character growth for King because he’s no longer a cute little Napoleon but now a scared, bewildered puppy discovering his true worth and identity. However, I’m a bit concerned that he might lose some of his own blood for either good or bad. Speaking of which, I’m honestly surprised they didn’t mention that in this episode. Because in order for Luz to get back home, she needs the blood of the Titan. The moment they realize this is when another intense conflict arises.

Furthermore, I’ve seen some people say that they feel sorry for the Collector as he expressed his disdain for loneliness in his imprisonment “beneath these bones” and are starting to doubt whether if they’re actually evil. Words cannot express how disappointed I was when I read people’s comments. That is EXACTLY what a skilled manipulative chaotic being will do—trying to make you feel sorry for them so that they could take advantage of your pity and exploit your weaknesses. I have no doubt that the Collector will carry out his nefarious schemes in the Day of Unity. He’s clearly imprisoned for a reason and is the reason why the Titans are mostly extinct, Eda went through traumatic experiences with her curse, and probably why the Titan is dead. He. Is. A. Villain. Period.

I did not expect Steve to have a wholesome bond with King and actually reveal his face. He has now become one of my top ten favorite characters in this show thanks to this episode. Great job, Steve—not you, Steve the Vehicon.

I loved the first time meeting between Raine and Luz, and seeing Darius and the few others reunite with our heroes to form...the C.A.T.S! This shows us that no matter how hard dark times may be, as long as we have each other and work together to sort things out, there will be hope on the horizon. This gets an A! Great voice acting, writing, and storytelling as always. Things will get even more ugly as the end of the season approaches.

Peace!

Speaking of for that... say Mr. J, did you notice the unsubtle jab at Disney (or fourth wall break) that Luz said in the episode via the following for it:

"Maybe if we had time for twenty more adventures, but we don't."

Clever writing on that naturally. ^^

If Amphibia and The Owl House do manage to make a crossover, I can see the Core and the Collector either teaming up or merging together to form the Core-lector. Reason why is because they're both greater-scope villains of their respective shows.

About that....

Pretty sure that's only the closest we can get of a crossover between the two.
