Eros in prereads; upcoming writing schedule + question for C&C readers · 3:55pm May 3rd, 2022
With Eros now scheduled for a Thursday night release, Harmonic Resonance is on deck, featuring Gilda’s favorite filly. And I believe after that, I’m going to grind out three straight chapters of Firefly to keep my promise of getting six out by summer, with possibly one chapter of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles thrown in the mix.
That accomplished, I’ll spend the summer mostly writing clop, trying to finish off Midnight Rising and Harmonic Resonance so I can focus on the climactic chapters of Nightmare Night for the fall, aiming to complete it or at least reach the epic denouement by Halloween. In other words, it’s my usual ambitious schedule, though I’ll throw in an occasional entry for Firefly or Feathered Hearts to keep things honest and give myself a break from clop.
As for Eros, it’s weighing in at about 8100 words right now; the whole Midway movie scene will take at least two and possibly three chapters to fully describe. Me being me, expect a history lesson within it and Chris to speak for me. But don’t worry—the M-rated action is definitely not neglected!
I admit I’m even half-tempted to produce a sanitized T-rated version of the chapter for regular C&C readers so they can see how Gilda, Fortrakt and Giraldi took seeing the movie Midway without the adult action. Sound off in the comments if you’d like to see such a thing.
I'd like a T-rated version just because I think it would work well in the main story.

Agreed, though as a recollection, so as not to require renumbering of chapters...

Very well. I think I can find a way to slip it in as a (sanitized) flashback later, where Fortrakt relates what he recalls the movie and very carefully leaves out all the M-rated activity that accompanied it.

I'm gonna read both just to let you know but I think a flashback is fine if you think it works and it's not too much work for you.
