Closeish, they're actually similar to methamphetamine. My generic Focalin for example is Dexmethylphenidate.

Cocaine is a really stupid drug because the high lasts like 15 minutes and it costs way too much money. There's a reason there's a stereotype of Rich Wall Street Bros using it. I recently got to try really good pure Mexican cocaine and it still is not something I would buy on the regular because it's still super pricey compared to meth and Other Drugs

Which is one of the things that makes meth dangerous from a medical perspective: you can get so much of it for so cheap. versus cocaine is honestly more dangerous from a financial perspective.
