A new pony project story concept: Odyssey: Ponies in Space

Story:

The year is 5010. Somewhere in the Nebula Horse, there’s a planet that’s hidden from the naked eye, filled with magical energies and beings that exist as mythical creatures, the Planet Magica. From there, anthropomorphic ponies live in harmony, using magic for their daily life. 

On their discovery, the ponies discovered, for the first time, advanced technology in the form of an unknown starship colony, the Odyssey and giant mecha, Combat Assault Machine or C.A.M.

With that discovery, ponies utilize the advanced technology with their magic as part of their culture, creating more C.A.M.s and Starships, and other technological innovations.

Just then, the Planet Magica was invaded by a horde of dark creatures from a Black Hole, the Void Eyes. Using their technologies, the ponies fought back in the war against the invaders, for 30 years as the Void Eyes attempt to drained off the planet’s lifeforce. No other choices, the ponies take off into space using the Odyssey as the Planet Magica is consumed by the Black Hole.

Now the ponies begin their journey into space to find a planet to live in and the magic they manage to spared from their planet. However, the Void Eyes begin their pursuit to destroy them all.

A young pegsaus stallion forced to pilot an incomplete C.A.M. and now fighting to save the Odyssey and ponykind from the Void Eyes and find a new home to inhabit.
