Break down of the EUP · 5:35pm Apr 14th, 2022
The EUP is divided into four branches: The Royal Guard (RG), The Air Guard (AG), The Land Guard (LG), and The Water Guard (WG). Their closest US counterparts are: the Secret Service, State Guard, police, FBI, Department of Treasury, and the Department of Homeland Security for the RG; the Air Force, State Guard, and CIA for the AG; Army, Marines, and State Guard for the LG; and the Coast Guard and Navy for the WG. Each guard is responsible for the research and development of their personnel equipment, medical equipment, and war machines, and each branch has its own stealth operations unit.
Royal Guard: the Royal Guard is subdivided into the Solar, Lunar, and Crystal Guard, their respective princess or prince being their five star general, and they will obey their respective ruler's orders above the others. Each guard is charged with protecting their princess, protecting their respective castle and all it holds, collecting taxes, keeping civil peace and policing Equestria, and counter terrorism. During peace times, the RG has the highest pony power of the military, and soldiers from other branches can be transferred in to bluster its numbers.
Air Guard: the Air Guard was exclusively pegasi until the invention of the war zeppelin and other aircraft. The Air Guard is charged with protecting Equestria's air space, providing air support in battles, rescue operations, emergency response operations, counter intelligence, and espionage. The Air Guard boasts the largest stealth operations of all the branches.
Land Guard: the Land Guard is charged with the protection of Equestria's land, being the main body in battle, disaster relief operations, rescue operations, and monster hunting. The Land Guard is the largest of the branches during war time.
The Water Guard: the Water Guard is charged with the protection of Equestria's coasts, commercial ships, shipping lanes, and Equestria's interests abroad along with maritime rescue, troop transportation, and sea support during battle. The Water Guard has the most soldiers abroad during peace times.
