University Days next chapter RESULTS · 11:34pm Dec 10th, 2012
The poll results are in and out of the 2,000+ readers, almost 300 voted. It's cool, I ignore blog posts too.
Anyway, the decision has been made and the next chapter will cover the day before Octavia's birthday (AKA awkward snowy cuteness).
Now, I noticed something about those who voted for the other option. They seem to be under the impression that this will just be a fluffy, pointless chapter that is basically fan service. If it's my fault you think that, I apologise, for I have misled you. The chapter will develop Octavia and Vinyl's relationship in a very special way, one that I've been waiting to get to for some time. After some careful thinking, I believe the time is right. Here's hoping it gives them strength to stand against the mother, eh?

Crimeny, I had a really good ass reason for why I voted for the extra chapter...
You can always have winter wonder day later you know. Like I said in the last blog post, no reason why our world and their world have to match up. Or just think of your Australian fans.

Aw man, now I feel bad for not voting. I hate it when people ignore my blog posts. Then again, only about 20 people get notified of them, and that's with tagging both of my stories in them too. I will participate next time, Pinkie promise.

Um. Am I misreading something? Because I'm pretty sure the choices were:
"1. Do a lovely snowy chapter about the day before Octavia's birthday (basically a holiday special without explicitly saying it's a holiday special)
OR
2. Skip straight to the birthday and ignore the holiday season entirely."
and he just said:
"Anyway, the decision has been made and the next chapter will cover the day before Octavia's birthday."
So we ARE getting the lovely snow chapter. I think. I might just be using my head too much (again).
Edit: Checked the poll, and the votes were 84% in favor of snow chapter. So I'm pretty sure I'm not derping here.

Boy I sure hope so. I know what a tyrannical mother can be like. I'm sure they'll pull through it,but not with out some doubt. Mostly on Octavias side. Vinyl will have to fight for their love.
I figured it was going to somehow build their relations, and that's why I voted for the fluffy chapter.
Hello dawnfade I am here with praise and excitement :D it seems as though I came upon this story right as new chapters are being written I read the whole thing in one day and loved it
I do hope chapters will be coming out at least every 2 weeks maybe? Not that I want to rush you I just love everything about it the ways it's written my favorite ship and just all the buildup romantically and dramatically

I voted to skip the snowy chapter, but maybe I shouldn't have. I just love this fanfic to much and want to see it progress, but hey I can wait for adorableness I guess. Can't wait to see what you have in store for this chapter on probably my favourite fanfic ever.
so will you be releasing like you did before, chapter that came out after previous chapters before them. for example, chapter one technically came out after chapter two but is listed as chapter one. i'm just curious, thats all. Whether you move when you want Octavia's birthday is up to you and all. I personally would've liked to see her birthday come now due to how you left a cliff hanger with your previous chapter, but you also said some time ago (dont remember how long ago it was) that you were going to release a hearths warming eve (christmas) chapter for the upcoming holiday, so thats why voted for the snowy chapter.

The dates next to the chapters are when I last edited that chapter, such as when I want to rewrite a little bit or fix a mistake.
Well... I voted Fluffy Snow Cuteness because I like cute things, and Vinyl is positively adorable sometimes.

Fluffy fanservice is fine by me: much of my energy and nutrition over the last few years has come from that very thing, and I'm not one to skimp at mealtimes!
To be honest, nothing quite beats a well-timed and well-executed holiday season d'aww-inducer, and I'll be most eagerly looking forward to this one.
