I am very sad about the dismantling of the T.W.E., and a little confused. Not quite sure why they got deleted. I still intend to go forward with the Mane 6 get hit by a Train. I am working on Rarity's chapter right now. I still need people willing to review her "fashion column" for use in the story. So if any of you know someone, it would be much appreciated.

While I could rant for hours as to why the reasons Knighty gave for our deletion were a steaming pile of manure, I've vented enough recently, so I'm not going to post my wall'o'text here.
On the subject of TWE 2.0, expect it to be up sometime Wednesday (roughly). We've got a couple new tools to play with thanks to the latest update (even if Knighty did screw over most of the site) so we should be able to keep a lid on the idiots this time round.
Train Wreck Explorers was deleted because certain members were abusing it within the community in order to basically pile hate onto bad fics, leaving only destructive criticism rather than constructive criticism, and going against the spirit of the thing. Certainly there was some scoffing done by members (everybody would cringe and giggle), but some people simply took it too far and used it as a platform to pile abuse and unhelpful commentary onto a targeted author.
Yes, there are bad fics out there, but just pointing and laughing, or worse, kicking the author around because of it, helps nobody improve.
Not everybody was guilty of this, but enough were that it became an issue, to the point where the term "cyber-bullies" was being thrown around to describe the group's members as a whole. In the end, it was hard to point to just a single individual or group within TWE that were particularly guilty, so rather than simply start throwing down Bans indiscriminately, the group was removed as a whole.
There's some rumor that a different group lead the charge in getting TWE removed, but there's been no confirmation or denial on that to my knowledge.

TL;DR: Some people started being assholes rather than helpful assholes.
