Sumimasen - すみません

That's Japanese for saying I'm sorry. The language and culture makes this the sincerest way I can say that. I truly wanted to stay on schedule, to release on Monday, then Tuesday, and now Wednesday, but I've been doing a lot of chatting about follow-on stories implied by the situations in the new chapters of The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers (Augmented & Enhanced). To say I've broadened the scope of the possibilities in the universe is an understatement.

Getting the work done, however...

The question is, do I write follow-on stories? Any of them?

Writing a novel is an immense undertaking. Aurora Midnight (pre-canon Starlight) is deeply important to me. She's the Walter Mitty alter-ego to my inner Fluttershy. I love that many people read what I've written, my special take on MLP's most complex character. I think I have a core fandom of about 200. But I get so little feedback! I despair whether my messages get through or I make anyone think about issues that are deeply personal to me, like homelessness, teaching girl and boy culture without thinking about it, what female empowerment actually looks like, or what princesses and royalty really are... Is it...? No, would it be worth it to write more? Do I continue?

I don't know!

For now, understand that this story is complete. Starlight Glimmer will... okay, that's a spoiler! Chapter 37 will blow you away. At least, Starlight has good reason to believe she won't make it. This is what it is like to fight beyond your capabilities at the best of your abilities, risking everything for the sake of others, realizing it is beyond you to win. Expect the ultimate fight and friendship lesson!
