New Story: Myths Like Us · 9:39pm Mar 28th, 2022

Hey everybody! Always an exciting moment when I have something this cool to share. Check out the cover to my latest story!

As you can probably guess, I won't be able to post this story here to fimfiction--genfic doesn't (and probably won't ever) exist, so I've had to post it elsewhere. This story was already available (for free) on my Patreon, and will continue to be. But for those who would rather not read it there, you can access it on Fanfiction.net going forward. It will take a short time to catch up with the Patreon chapters, and should be mostly current with it after that. https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14059666/1/Myths-Like-Us

For those wondering, this is indeed a sequel to another Pokemon story I wrote previously, Mew Like Me. This story is also on fanfiction.net to be read in its entity, or you could grab the PDF from a previous blog post.

This story will bring back several of those old characters, but will also take us on a new adventure. Enter Shiloh Lamond, Pokemon Master. He's defeated gyms in every region, has brand deals and sponsorships and a career anyone would dream of. He's only missing one thing: A mythical pokemon to make his team a thing of legends, and cement his place in history. With great effort, he eventually tracks down the mythical Mew, and corners her for a battle.

Let's just say that she's ready to make sure he goes down in history, one way or another.

A huge thanks to Ligthfox for sponsoring this awesome story, and of course Chris the Mew who made the amazing cover! Can't go wrong with a few more pokemon in the world.

Shiloh: The walking incarnation of "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes." Though I'm sure the Mew involved would object to me calling the prize stupid.

I thank you for informing me about this story!

He should have cornered her for a sponsorship deal.
