Spoilers for Darkwood ahead.
So I was playing Darkwood, and I came across something I had no knowledge of. The Doctor's story continues after chapter 1, and his dialogue - which again, I had no knowledge of - is so similar to the changeling's in Darkest Shades of Everfree (which is based off Darkwood). Even more uncanny is the Elephant, who mentions she's been there for 3 years. I didn't know three years had actually passed in Darkwood, I thought I was on year one because of the catalogues and magazines I kept finding, and how the character kept mentioning they were that year's issue. And the character in Darkest Shades has been surviving in the Everfree for three years.
It seems I know more about Darkwood than I thought.
The changeling's words.
"Do you hear the Apollyon sirens sing to us of salvation? Their voice... is it not enticing? They call to us, they want us to come..."
The resemblance is so uncanny.
And I love it.
This game is just one of a kind.
