A Mad Glimmer and A Crazed Gleam aren't exactly my proudest works. Especially not Gleam, written partly as a way to come to terms with Starlight's reformation when it was hot off the press and partly because I legitimately didn't predict it when planning Glimmer. (It was Season 5; we were still a ways away from the likes of "Sweet and Smoky.") That said...

Look, I'm not immune to flattery, especially flattery in the form of translating my stories into other languages. In this case, one Hellagur has rendered the Disco Starlysium duology into Chinese. For those curious to see them, the results can be found here and here. My thanks for their effort and appreciation.

Psh, that's nothing, pleb. Get back to me when you get translated into Moonspeak like a proper nerd.

*shudder* I feel dirty for typing that. In all seriousness, congrats on getting translated. Who knows, you might end up seeing your story get adapted for TV... without your knowledge. :rainbowlaugh:

Okay, for real now: kudos to you. Getting a translation, a voluntary one at that, is a sign you did something very right. Keep up the good work and derp :derpytongue2:

"Disco Starlysium" is an interesting choice of title for the series. I get the reference, but I'm not sure what the specific connection is.

Ah, congratulations. :)

I haven't gotten Moonspeak, but I have achieved Potato Language, Pierogi Language, and Build-a-Word Workshop. :derpytongue2:

In all seriousness, thanks.

It's mostly wordplay for the sake of wordplay, but an amnesiac changeling cop who's trying to kick a negative emotion addiction while investigating an anomalous love generator would make for a fascinating sequel to Crazed Gleam.

Certainly so. I'd say you should write it, but I'm still waiting on that Apple family JoJo story.

Though, considering that the setting of Gleam was based on the wasteland timeline, you'd need to do a lot of changeling world-building to get a decent Revachol stand-in going, otherwise it could be a mite too desolate. Unless it's not set in the new changeling kingdom itself, but some other surviving city now under changeling occupation? I don't know. There's a lot you could do with a Disco crossover.
