To give my thoughts on this quickly...

I'm pretty interested in the fact that we're getting both a webseries and a T.V. series with this new MLP iteration. I don't mind the "bean mouth" style for the 2D animation. Thrilled to add something new to the Christmas watch list. And i'll just have to wait and hear how the new voice actresses and voice actor will pull off the roles of the main characters (though, I won't lie, i'm rather sad that James Marsden, the bridge between two of my favourite franchises, has left).
