How I got friend-zoned in Cyberpunk 2077 · 8:16pm Feb 14th, 2022
To commemorate Valentine's Day, and because I am way too sober to properly enjoy this holiday, I decided to share with you guys how I somehow managed to (technically) screw up a romance in Cyberpunk 2077.
You see, there's this character in Cyberpunk 2077 called Judy Alvarez. And let me tell you, she is quite the number:
So, when her questline started, I figured I might try my best to romance her. And by looking up how to romance her on IGN, I figured 'how hard can it be to get V in her pants?' (even though she could just go to the local sex shop to get a V in her pants )
Turns out I overlooked one small but very significant flaw. She is a romance option for a female V while my V is a male that I specifically designed to look like me, except with a more toned body, though that's because there wasn't a body type option that's closer to mine AFAIK. During the last quest in her questline, V has an option to say "So it's a date?" while talking to Judy on the phone, with Judy responding that V's not her type, which should have clued me in that a male V has no chance in Hell of wooing her.
So, if you're feeling like a loser today or any other day, just remember I got friend-zoned by a video game character.
Sure, I could just woo Panam (especially since "Follow Panam" is every player's favourite mission objective in this game ) but she's got a bad temper and I already got enough bad-tempered people in my life.
I know a girl that's waiting for you:
