Coming Out Of My Cage Sequel · 6:23am Feb 13th, 2022
I want to write a sequel to "Coming Out Of My Cage", this story being focused on Katrina's son, Quinn, and his thoughts on being treated differently because he's half pony (and unicorn especially) and dealing with things like being called an animal and the fact that he can do magic on Earth because he's half unicorn and half pony, something only people who are half human and pony can do. Something in the rules would be like, all people born to two humans are Earth ponies when they go to Equestria or are born in Equestria, which is why Quinn specifically is a unicorn, because he has unicorn genes from whatever stallion Katrina was with at the time.
Right now the working title is "Half Blood", but I want to use a song as the title again, like "Come As You are" or something. And it wouldn't be released until it's completely finished being written, just like Coming Out Of My Cage (for reference, I'm currently at about 2k words of the first chapter). I don't know when writing will seriously begin, but I've been distracted with other things of late, so hopefully sometime in March or April, with a book ready by May or June.
A story about a half pony half human actually sounds really interesting. There’s a lot of human turning into pony stories, and vice versa, but less stories about an actual human-pony chimera, living in IRL Earth. Would he outwardly appear as a human on Earth but with unicorn traits? Or maybe he looks like the ponied up Equestria girls?
I think Half Blood is a cool title. I’m looking forward to reading it.
You write it, I'll read it.
ooo i really love this as a concept! looking forward to it .u.
The Kids Aren't All Right
Fortunate Son
I'm sure there are others.
Sounds like a fantastic concept, and it the previous story is anything to go by, this one will be amazing.
As for titles, we’ve got Carry On Wayward Son, Strange Magic, Otherside, and You’re Gonna go Far, Kid
being called an animal?
Objectively speaking, humans can also be called animals by ponies.Hairless monkeysAt the end of the day, it's a vertical form of disrespect.
The story sounds interesting. I think I'll be looking forward to it.
