The next chapter for Our Daughter is almost ready.
It's been a challenging one to write, but I think it's also quite a strong chapter as I begin to reach moments I've been wanting to cover since I started out. The story has turned out longer and a far bigger emotional trip than I thought it would be when I started out with my initial two short chapters.
It's been a long time coming for some of the ideas in this chapter. As the story is only a few chapters away from being finished, I also find myself hesitating a bit. I've carried this story with me, developing it for over 4 years. I'm so used to having more to do, yet now I see the final moments are all laid out in my macs document and all I need to do is expand the notes or short segments into full scenes.
Personally I think this is story showcases my most canon view of Spitfire and Soarin and it would have been very cool if they had been revealed to be Scootaloo's parents in the show instead of those ponies I forget about who were introduced later on in the show.
Soon as I get this one last scene completed it will be update time
I have to ask, do you intend to have Rainbow and Fluttershy's Changeling daughter undergo the metamorphosis the Changelings experienced in the cartoon?
