Greetings, all.
So, I'll get straight to the point. I am working on the next installment, CTTB: Life in the Crystal Empire. I've got some progress made into it, though it is not an easy go of things as of yet. Primarily, work has gotten more involved, taking me away for weeks at a time.
I still do what I can when I can, but to say I'm busier than usual is grossly underselling my situation.
Also, while starting out what little I have written, I realized I need to double back and form a better timeline of the events that are about to play out. Mostly because of where things pick up, the evolving of relationships, the grand scheme of things going on, a lot has changed. From what I originally planned when I released the first chapter of CTTB.
Realistically, I'm thinking that in the summer I could have something ready to put out and start publishing again on a regular basis. That might also get delayed if I put more effort into Sunset's prequel. Then again, I'm going to be moving sometime in the spring for work again, so who's to say something else won't pop up between now and then.
Getting art done for this story is going to be a higher priority as well. Fingers crossed.

As of right now, the direct sequel of CTTB will pick up the morning after Cadance departs Ponyville with Cerb and the other tagalongs. Add in a little catching up with the happenings back with the rest of the Stranded Seven, the following chapters will follow along with Cerb in the Crystal Empire and maybe bring about a familiar face or two that haven't had much story time yet.

Sounds like a fresh start after the tree incident, one that I think everyone of the 7 needs...bad.

Cerb was left in a rather fragile state, so the real goal of this trip is to ensure he recovers in mind, body, and soul... though some mare might have other goals to pursue as well. Not to mention the unhinged dangers that are still roaming free and unchecked could become obsticles.
