So typically I have a time period lasting between a week to over a month where I'll just update the everloving hell out of my stories, then go dead for several months because I've burned myself out, but....what if I wrote some chapters, then spread them out over the course of a week, some days might get one chapter of a story, some days I might update two or three, then I go to rest for a few days to recharge and repeat.
Slightly less for you all in the short run, but maybe, just maybe. This is the key to preventing my burnout. This year I will try, I will go above and beyond! To update a story at least once a week, I already have a few chapters written for some stories I haven't touched in a while, like that one story where Spike and Trixie fuse, or that other story with the exact same premise. And that one Story about Team Rocket that everyone hates. But hey it's better than the Savage Lands.
What's the Savage Lands? why it's the only story I've ever written that was so bad I simply couldn't allow it to just float around, I had to eliminate it, it was painfully dully, and Unlike with the Anti-6 I haven't yet been able to re-write it. (Oh yeah Fun fact the Story the Anti-6 was originally way different but I ended up hating it almost as much as the Savage lands, but there was a little bit of meat hanging on it and I was just able to salvage it into something decent,)
This is fun, I'm a keep rambling in this single blog post about random shiz, Did you know that I did the same thing with the Lone Warrior, only to get stuck again! I can not for the life of me figure out how to smoothly transition from where I am now to where I need the story to be, I have plans, ideas, but they all fall apart and I end up hating them. Long story short if I can't figure out what to do with a story I just have to leave it be until I can think of a way around it, like with Reincarnation, I was stuck on a bit for a while, but once I figured it out I was able to write like 8 chapters in 3 days (Still editing them so their passable enough to be read)
Oh yeah, I'm hoping to get So Long old Friend an Audio Reading, and maybe even a comic if I can save up enough and find an author willing to do it, That story is a masterpiece of Sadness.
And to finish off my long babbling Blog, I now have a Ko-fi, at the moment my primary goal is to raise enough money to pay for the Spike Pie: Season 2 Cover. If you'd like to help me out I'd really appreciate it. Spike Pie is very special for me, without it I wouldn't be here today, It may not be my original story, but it was the one that will keep me active on Fimfiction, even if I lose my love for the show itself, I absolutely refuse to leave Fimfiction until I finish Spike Pie: Season 9, with the Equestria Girls movies added as well because my dreams are wild!
