Hey to anybody who sees this, sorry I disappeared off the face of the earth again (in spite of my old promises.) I wish to continue, but I have two issues:
1) I'm honestly not sure how to keep Mesmera as a compelling character given what she'd eventually grow up to be, nor what events I would have to lead up to that.
2) The main reason, I did the one thing that a writer (or any creative) shouldn't do, which is do a bunch of stuff all at once. The thing is that if you do tons of work all at once, you burn yourself out, and that's exactly what happened.
Because of this, I'm putting Mesmera on hiatus, the duration of which I am unsure, perhaps indefinite. However, I am working on a new story about a character made for a Pathfinder campaign which never happened, and one where I actually have an overarching plan instead of making it up as I go. This time, I'm gonna actually pace myself. I'll post the prologue once I feel properly comfortable with it, partially to gauge interest.
