When Christmas went by, rather than pick out a new avatar then, I decided to just switch to another wintery one, as I hadn't quite decided what I was going to use next.

Recently, though, I've been reading Phoebe and Her Unicorn, and I thought it'd be fun to try to draw Sweetie Belle as a unicorn from that universe (basically as Marigold Heavenly Nostrils). I heavily referenced this comic:

And I had a Sweetie Belle picture up, mostly for mane reference. I already have all the colors for Sweetie Belle in a custom pallette, so I don't really need color reference.

And I ended up drawing this, obviously very based on the second panel.
I decided I like it enough that I'm going to try using it as an avatar for a bit. Conveniently, I used a 3000 x 3000 canvas when drawing it, and square canvases are always good for avatars and group icons.
Sweetie is all grown up now

Phoebe and Her Unicorn is a wonderful strip. Reportedly, Lauren Faust is a fan. Also, I bookmarked (but haven't yet watched) a video where Nicole Oliver (voice of Cheerilee and Princess Celestia, among others) does a reading with the strip's artist/writer Dana Simpson, with Nicole providing the voice of Marigold.

All the imgur pictures on this blog post (or really, that I've posted anywhere on fimfiction) are broken.
The pictures that actually are showing up aren't, and are things I had been thinking of using as an avatar.
