New Story Poll: What anime would the Equestria girls like? · 8:50pm Jan 4th, 2022
I am plotting out a new series of stories, the basic premise is going to be each of the Equestria girls enjoying a different anime or being in an anime like scenario. So I want to get feedback from all of you on which anime you think that would fit the girls the best. I have a couple of draft ideas like the following
Sunset & Pinkie watch Uzaki-chan wants to hang out
Sunset & Fluttershy watch Don't bully me miss nagatoro
Sunset & Rarity watch Kill La Kill
Sunset would be the main character in these as I am of the firm belief she is the only girl in the group who hasn't watched anime and so the other girls would try and get her into it by getting her to watch different anime with them at different times. Do you guys have any suggestions? Obviously I am gonna try and do something with Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Naruto etc but I want to get feedback from you guys too before I make any final choices.
That first one sounds like a lot of fun.

Sunset watching something like black rock shooter, Madoka Magica or even Sailor moon might be interesting since they share the whole magical girl theme lol.

I was trying to think of a magical girl anime to let her watch, Sailor moon was my first thought but then I remembered I don't really know shit about Sailor moon besides the very basics
I would recommend Don't bully me miss Nagatoro since it matches them a bit more
Pinkie Pie would probably get a kick out of Food Wars

I realize I'm super duper late in this, but I'd like to add a little something. My personal favorite anime series is Lyrical Nanoha. It's a magical girl series with a slight mecha influence that leans more into being action oriented. I mean, the main character's magical girl outfit makes her resemble a Gundam for Pete's sake.
It's not super popular outside of Japan, but it does have Its following. I figured Sunset, Sci-Twi, and maybe Rainbow might get a kick out of it.
