Monthly Sneak Peak 2: Happy Holidays and How to Meet the Parents · 4:00am Dec 30th, 2021
Happy Holidays everypony! A little late, I know, but better late than never. Christmas was great, with me getting to spend it with my Fiancee's family. She even got me a pillow that says "Stop Everything. Kris Get The Banana. Potassium" from Delta Rune and a picture frame with an image of Izzy that says "May you always be as happy as an Izzy with a tennis ball," which is just perfect. I may also have a small Christmas special chapter sometime in the next month, but it depends on how much free time I have.
But with that out of the way, lets give you your sneak peaks! Yes, I said peaks. In celebration of the holiday, I decided to give you two small peeks this month. Enjoy.
Peak 1: Meeting Flash's Father
Twilight was standing there, looking completely paralyzed as she stared up into the eyes of Flash’s father. His Father, meanwhile, stood there looking down at Twilight with an unreadable and somewhat stony expression. He was a dark orange pegasus with a blue mane that nearly matched Flash’s, bright purple eyes, and a cutie mark of a bright pink flower with six huge petals.
At the exact opposite end of the height scale compared to Flash’s mom, Flash’s dad was massive! Even stating on the tips of his hooves, the top of Flash’s head could only ever come up to the bottom of his father’s chin, making him nearly the same height as Princess Luna! Even Big Mac would likely need to look up to meet his eyes.
Eyes that were currently staring into those of his marefriend without a hint as to what he might be thinking.
“H-Hello sir,” Twilight said, stuttering a little bit as she slowly lifted her hoof. “I-I am Twilight Sparkle, y-you’re son’s m-m-marefriend. It’s n-nice to meet you.” She continued, offering her hoof for a hoof shake.
Nothing happened for a few seconds, before Flash’s father slowly lifted his own hoof, only to completely avoid Twilight’s hoof and instead go directly for Twilight’s nose.
“Boop.”
Oh dear Luna dad, really? Flash thought, trying not to laugh at the massively confused expression on Twilight’s face as she stared at the hoof currently pressed up against her nose. You know mom is going to kill you for that, right?
“…Buh?” was the only response Twilight gave, her crossed eyes wide in confusion.
“I said,” Flash’s father continued in a low baritone voice, his stony expression breaking into a playful grin as he retracted his hoof, only to send it forward again. “Boop!” he exclaimed, booping Twilight’s nose again and causing her muzzle to scrunch up adorably. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Princess Twilight! Or do you just prefer Twilight?”
Peek 2: SUPLEX!
“Shining Armor, I remember Shining Armor,” an adorably sleepy voice called. Looking over, Flash saw that his mom was now awake again and was currently stretching out like a cat. “I suplexed him,” she said proudly.
Okay, both are quite funny.
Really looking forward to when the chapter is out.

I love it when a boyfriend is embarrassed (in the good way) by his family in front of his girlfriend :)

I can only imagine. And I bet the wedding is going to be so ridiculously insane.
(P.S. I've read how Flash said his mom inspired him to be a guard. I hope Flash's dad had a siginifacnt impact on his son's life too)
