Hit a Snag and the Next Chapter is Delayed · 2:54am Dec 22nd, 2021
Heya folks,
Gonna keep this brief today. It’s Wednesday here in Japan, and well... chapter 15 will get here when it gets here. At this rate, we might be looking at a Sunday release since I can’t decide where this chapter is going to end up. Vinyl is surprisingly difficult to write sometimes. I have about four different endings written to this chapter, but none of them are satisfying to me. Sure, they are exciting, but they’re going way too fast thanks to Vinyl’s abrasive, hotheaded nature supplanting her intelligence too easily. Either way, the chapter needs some more time in the oven this week. I am very sorry for the delay.
Looking at the bright side, like the last time this happened, I have somewhere in the realm of 2K to 4K words that I can pretty much throw into a later chapter since what the topic falls to is still very important information. It’s just too early for it. Come to think of it, every time I’ve had to delay a release was when I am dealing with this nugget of information. Why must you make everything so difficult?
I have some good news though. I get Christmas break off. With only a few exceptions, after this week, I’ll be a free man from Dec. 25 to Jan. 11, which I hope to spend a good percentage of it writing at home thanks for the new variant out there.
