So I watched some (maybe most) of the Game Awards last night. Stopped after Sonic the Hedgehog 2's trailer, the only thing I sat through the rewards to see. I had hoped that Jim Carrey would be onstage in his Robotnick costume, being in character and saying he told us he'd be back by Christmas, but alas, that didn't happen. But for the trailer, I'm actually fairly hyped for this, as it seems to be a mix between the original Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 3 (& Knuckles). Tails and Knuckles look great, though a part of me is morbidly curious to see what they may have looked like if they stuck to the original, creepy man-hog design, lol. Can't wait to see how this will play out, and unless shown, Illuminations Mario movie still looks like a complete shit show, lol
It's amazing what a simple design change can do. I don't think the first movie would've been as successful had they stuck to the original design from the very first trailer.
I was surprised how solid the first movie turned out. Wasn't amazing or anything, but what it did, it did quite well.
The trailer to this looks intriguing. No idea what the plot is beyond "Robotnic back and looking for revenge, and he's brought a friend." but if they can, at the least, keep up the quality of the first one, I'm happy.
I hope that Tails actually introduces himself by his REAL name before caling himself tails.
Does Robotnik have a Chaos Emerald or the Master Emerald?

No doubt about that, but I can just imagine how creepy everything would be... and explain why Sonic just didn't take that bomb on his hand in the movie, lol

If this becomes a success, will we get a trilogy or entire series? Bet the 3rd movie may add Amy Rose, Cream the rabbit, Rouge the bat, and Metal Sonic
