That's Another Chapter for Electro Swing · 2:20pm Dec 1st, 2021
Okay guys, short a sweet blog post as it's late at night and I shouldn't be up but I am.
It's early Wednesday for you and late Wednesday for me, so I whacked that Publish button before bed. Interesting how the Hearth's Warming chapters are falling into place around this time. I didn't time it like this, but it was bound to happen since the end of the fall semesters for the Equestria school system in this fic is the 12th moon, so it's holiday time! Speaking of which, I do have a little bit of bad news. I deleted an entire section out of this fic containing everyone's favorite Princess of the Night, so sorry about that. Also, next week, there won't be a new chapter of Electro Swing.
The reason for that is Luna was eating the chapter alive, so I am spinning her story and expanding it into its own one-shot spin-off to be released in its place!
I know better than to simply delete Luna content.
I should have it done by next Wednesday, so be sure to keep an eye out for that. That one is definitely more holiday themed, taking full advantage of the fact I happen to be writing these chapters in December. Be on the lookout for it as I won't be tagging it as a sequel. I am also going to try to minimize spoilers in the event that folks read one and not the other since it will be taking place during Electro Swing, so feel free to dive into it during the holidays if you haven't kept up with the main fic.
Though if you want to give me a present, reading Electo Swing would be a great one to give me. Just saying.
Anyway, I'm sinking my teeth into the seasonal story, channeling some energy I feel while listening to the song I've selected for the fic while thinking about my family halfway around the world. I hope you will enjoy it next Wednesday--assuming nothing catastrophic to my productivity doesn't occur between now and then. I will do my best to tell it.
