Redemption Equals Death: Is freed from the armor, but dies soon after.
Suspiciously Similar Substitute: He is related to a good guy, is also good but turned evil because of his armor, gets freed from the control but has to die doing so... and is not named Fratello this time.

No, Seeder wasn't brainwashed by magical armor like Fratello was. He was possessed by an evil spirit of a Vampire Fruit-bat (Count Nightwing)
He was quite literally just plain brainwashed. The armor had nothing to do with it.
He was also never freed from it either, he had strength enough to fight for control, but it would only last him so long before the evil took over again.
Bright Mac and Pear Butter were saved because they were merely hypnotized/cursed by the magic. Seeder couldn't be cured... even if he was able to fight the control, he still had Nightwing's actual spirit within him, and he was still fighting for control.
Seeder didn't die from fighting control; he chose to commit suicide-- sacrifice himself to destroy Nightwing and break every and all spells the evil had cast (Like killing the head vampire) It was the only way he knew would wok for sure (There was also no time or chance to do or even think of much else)
