So, uh, apparently I have been banned from the Sunset Shimmer group?
I totally respect that a private group on a private site can do what it likes, but a little explanation would be nice?
I mean, a total ban from a group for no given reason is a lot bigger than a random passing downvote.
Just to add: I have no idea about any politics, any rivalries and any weird grudges there might be between groups and users in said groups I am/have been a member of. I just came her to share pony fics and joined groups to share stories. Stories I write when an idea tickles my fancy or some plot bunny is too funny not to follow.
When I joined the group I wasn't breaking any rules, after a long time of membership on FiMFiction, I might have forgotten some obscure tenet in the regulations. Which is why a warning, or at least a quick PM explaining things would have been a little more in keeping in the sprit of FiM and associate media.
If anyone knows why, let a gal know?

I'll see if anyone can explain here, or messages me from seeing this post. If I get nothing in a few days I will message the group admin.
I joined in 2015, which is a long while back to recall all the rules I agreed to and the only rules post I can find on the group relates to the forum. So I have no idea what I could have done.
You should ask the administrator of the group why you were banned. There would be no reason for them to check here.

Agree here. Only the group admins would be able to really give you that reasoning, so PM one of them just to say, "It appears that I've been banned from this group. I was curious if you could tell me why in case there's any behavior I should be watching out for."
Maybe phrase it more charismatically than I'm able to, though....

I was crowd sourcing ideas for the appropriate course of action, but when people mention one of my ideas then I know it was not a random bad idea.

Sorry to hear about the ban. Hope it gets cleared up. I will say I once got a ban on derpibooru because of mistaken identity, so hopefully something simple like that.
