Toxic Friendships That You Don't Want to End

How funny is it that my first post on this website isn't a story, but a blog post about a fellow brony who's extremely toxic to me because I have a backbone. I wouldn't have posted this, but let's go over what happened just now. So I send him a nice little message and tell him I think he'd really enjoy this story. So he says he's busy and I say "Okay. Here's the story for you to read whenever you want." And then he freaks out at me and says I didn't read my message. Despite the fact I literally said that he could read the story when he wanted. I tell him "I know. That's why I said you can read it whenever you want." and he continues to flip out at me like I'm the one who's being an asshole. And he acts like this 50% of the time and it makes me wonder if this friendship is worth it. I've worked hard to make the friendship work and I have bent over backwards before to help him. And the other 50% of the time I talk to him, he's just so much fun to talk to. But that other 50% of the time is so hurtful, it makes me wonder why I haven't cut ties with him already. I should, but I'm an incredibly positive person and one of the things I hate most is ending friendships. But I've been trying to be nice to this guy for 3 years now and there are just so many times he acts like this. I'm not gonna say who he is because I don't condone harassment. But my god... I really wish he would wake up and smell the roses because I've been kinder to him than he has to me. And that's not to say he has never been kind to me in my life. He was willing to pay around 800$ for me to get into a meet and greet with Andrea Libman, voice of Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. That unfortunately didn't work out, though. As we couldn't get the bank to send money overseas for some reason. He's gotten me birthday gifts before. But when he acts up like this, it makes me so upset. Especially since as of right now, he knows I'm going through a rough spot with my FIVE YEAR OLD dog's declining health.
