[UPDATE] Poll results, monomacrochapter is a go

To nobody's surprise after the MASSIVE lead the "single chapter" contingent took on Friday evening, this big 'ol boondoggle of a chapter will be published as a single entry.

That said, I'm going to use this experience to guide my publishing of the remaining chapters. I have a feeling that Chapter 9 is going to have to be split into at least 2 parts. (I'll be updating the numbering, so future readers won't even know they were originally a single chapter) My target is to keep each future chapter for the Empire series under 9k words.

Let's hope that, unlike many of my other aspirational goals, this one isn't shattered in a month.

Not at all! I really prefer Strawpoll, but the site hasn't seen a proper update in over a year and the log-in doesn't seem to work anymore, so if you create a poll you have no control over it after releasing it to the wild. Pollly is my fallback, I don't like it as much because it has no good way of letting people be completely anonymous, but it also doesn't require people to register to use the poll, so plusses and minuses.
