I never realized what this song was actually about...

Hey guys.

I never realized what Rhianna's song Shut Up And Drive was actually talking about in the lyrics until today.

She refers to her shirt as a sunroof(if your car has one).

And she also calls herself a '57 Cadillac'

Basically, one of these cars:

And the fact that these Cadillac series were also related to the 57-78 Plymouth Fury car series which was also used for my favorite horror movie Christine(1983).

Fun fact; Christine was actually played by three different models of car in the film. John Carpenter was able to source 24 Plymouth Furies, alongside quite a few Belvederes and Savoys on account of their similarity to the Fury. Entertainingly, the Furies were only available in beige in real life!
