Let's see how this thing works. Oh, like this. That's nice.

Holla holla, yolla dolla!

In an effort to not bore the three people who have bizzarely chosen to follow me (seriously, me? There are authors on this site tons better than me who deserve your patronage more than I do), I have decided to make this little blog post. However, I have decided to break tradition and blog via a non-standard medium. Fillies and gentlecolts, I am speaking to you via Internet Explorer.

'Well now, Idsertian,' you might say. 'That's hardly ground breaking. Also, get off crappy IE and start using Chrome/Firefox/Opera/Safari/whateverotherbrowserthekidsareusingthesedays.'

To that, I say: Ha! I use Chrome on a daily basis and even have a Luna theme for it. But I use that on my PC. Today, I talk via Internet Explorer on a 360. Yeah. Let that sink in. What's even more mindblowing is that Micro~~cash~~soft actually managed to design and build an application that actually works. I know, it blew my mind too.

Anyway, at this point, I would start to prattle on about my inspiration and motivation for writing Firedance; but the truth of the matter is quite short and really rather dull: It was made up on the spot with little to no planning and the motivation was incredibly shallow. Competition and potential reward in the form of prizes. Whee! Happiness through material goods! So yeah, there's that.

Ok, so; short-term goals for my life on fimfiction:

1. Edit the living shit out of Firedance. I was reading it today and noticed things that need fixed. This comes of writing at stupid o'clock at night and not paying enough attention during your own proof-reading. Nothing major, just a few punctuation mistakes, missing words and one or two sentences that could do with a bit of re-wording.

2. Write something else. Not sure what, but watch this space. Be prepared for long waits though, I traditionally write very slowly and I'm a gaming addict. Often, I'll be playing TF2, L4D2, C&C or something else when I could be writing. I've also got a bucketload of stuff on 360 to get through (casts baleful glance at AC3, Hitman: Absolution, FC3, Halo 4, Borderlands 2). And no, I'm not above writing about naughty things, though you may have to wait for that. Don't want to dive into the filth straight away (haha).

3. Ok, I'm being told by my internal monologue that I shouldn't be talking about writing new things. It's also saying that I shouldn't be making these blogs. That gives me an idea: Make more blogs! I write the stories around here, I can blog about writing new things all damn day!

Oh yeah, and the fellow Brit who helps out on the author panels, whose name has completely escaped me for the minute. I know, I'm a terrible person and I apologise to him.

That's about it for the minute. Oh yeah, I also wanted to make this to give iloveportalz0r something to read. I looked at his profile a few minutes ago and he seems like a frood, so yeah -no sneaky edit here, nope-.

One last thing: I'm tagging Firedance in this, in the hope that everyone who's favourited it so far gets this. This will save me time on thanking everyone for those favourites, which are much appreciated. Seriously, it's really quite encouraging.
