Management has asked me to come in and work on one of my days off this week. Again. Given my current financial issues (long story short, I've been splurging a little when I shouldn't be), I've opted to do so. I'll stay long enough to make sure that we are on good footing, but after that, I'm leaving.
Between that, some pre-existing plans for tomorrow and dealing with the housemate, I may or may not get any writing done tomorrow. I hope that I do. I have a clear idea in mind for what I can write, and getting it down should be relatively easy provided I find the time, but that's the obvious issue. Time. And I fear that time is running out.

Can't really be helped, alas. I can't recall if I mentioned this, but the immediate supervisor quit a couple weeks ago, and between two of our new hires being less than reliable and one of our regulars being out with COVID, the department's being hit hard. Not as hard as we could be given management's been throttling orders and keeping things sane, but still, hit hard.
I really don't need this, though. Got too many headaches in my life for my liking.
