I'll be banned from the site again

Due to, of course, more transphobia and disagreeing with site-majority opinions, I have been informed that I will be kicked off the site permanently starting tomorrow. I have prepared a farewell message in the comments below.

    Happy Easter!

And to those who don't celebrate Easter, too bad, I'm going to impose it on you. Happy Easter. Jesus Christ died for you too, and because He rose from the dead, so can we all.

Fluttershy and the Lava Demon: A Tale of Friendship

My first AI art post. It isn't my art, since a computer for Bing generated it, but I had to share. And I always follow a strict "lacerate-demons-on-the-spot-with-a-shotgun-and-chainsaw" policy, but I can make an exception for this one.

    Artificial Intelligence

"Bradybunch, everyone's already given their opinions on it!" Yeah, I know. But before I left the site for two years for a mission, AI was barely cohesive enough to give slurred and static-like voice replication, nonsensical chatbots, and meaningless swirls of shape and color for art. Then, all of a sudden, AI got really good, so I had to try it out. I'm using Bing's AI image generation, which is

    LOTR will never be equaled.

I was thinking about it while playing Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. (My brother gifted them to me for my birthday.) And honestly, the more I reflected on it, the more it made sense. There's a few things that compare in literary achievement, like Dune, but it never made it into modern public consciousness until, like, three years ago. And besides, LOTR wasn't just popular or good-- it

BradyBunch Escapes Death By The Hand of Providence · 12:49am Aug 24th, 2021

I've been catching up on getting 60 hours of driving practice before I'm shipped out to where I go on my mission. In only a few days, I've managed to rack up 13 hours, one of them at night. Roads are becoming familiar to me. Driving comes easy. The only real problems are discerning where to turn and how fast to do so.

This leads into my little incident. Not even an hour ago, I was driving to Cafe Rio with my dad. On an intersection, I was turning left. As soon as I crossed the median, I heard a screech and a thud. I whirled around, and a white truck bounced up onto the median, its front left bumper hanging off.

I initially thought I had hit some debris in the road and was dragging it. Or that I had popped a tire. Shaken, but not stirred, I pressed on to retrieve my bounty from Chipotle 2.0.

Upon our return home, I learned what exactly happened. The white truck behind me, as I was turning, was too close to my tail. He thought I would turn far quicker than I was moving. As I went through, the car approaching from the opposite direction couldn't stop in time from hitting the white truck on my tail.

I was joking earlier in the day about how providence was on my side, evidenced by my abundance of green lights. Now, I suppose I really can say I was protected.

Mmm’kay:applejackunsure:
Do you have anything to say about the people in the crash that you in hindsight know you drove away from?
Gonna be blunt: you’re safe, which puts you at the bottom of my priority list in the incident. I’m sitting here hoping that everyone else is equally fortunate and unharmed, or at least not too badly banged up, and you’re basking in the idea that you were granted Divine Protection; while not even acknowledging that other people could have been hurt. One of those vehicles might had had kids in it, and you wanna talk about how you are so blessed to have narrowly avoided getting hit?

You’re about to go on Mission to represent your faith. Is this how you want to start?

Well, I only created this to say I'd narrowly avoided disaster. Saying that God was keeping special watch over me by causing everyone else to get into danger was not what I meant at all. I'm sorry if it seemed otherwise. The running gag throughout the day of providence held a bit more weight after what happened, is all. I'm not actually basking in the idea that God cares a lot about me and no one else. The accident was just horrible luck.

When I passed by the crash again, I saw everyone out on the grass talking it all out. There was police and an ambulance there, but it wasn't being used. It was about two teenage girls and a middle-aged dude. People seemed safe. The biggest damage probably was to the little car. Gonna be blunt, I'll never see them again, and I was not the one that caused the disaster, so it doesn't weigh too heavily on my conscience.

That would have been really, really good to know up front that everyone was ok. :yay: I apologize if I came off as abrasive, but when stuff like this happens: it’s force of habit for me to say that everybody who is clearly unharmed aren’t the ones who need attention.
You don’t perform the Heimlich on someone who isn’t choking.:derpytongue2:

And it shouldn’t. That truck was either driving too close to you, too fast, or both.
