Aight so let's talk the movie trailer that released about 9hours ago

I was really excited to watch it just like any other human being. But I'm gonna dump some of my feelings and the stuff I saw inside.

1. During the part when Hitch "saves" a mother's kid, there's a poster in the background with an evil looking Pegasus. This proves that the earth ponies do not just fear the unicorns. (Speaking of which, who wants to watch the Horns and Harry Trotter movie with me)

2. The scene in the unicorns was really depressing even though I see a few reactors laughing. It reminded me of Tirek and how soulless they look after their magic is taken. If you look at the trailer closely, you can see that they are wearing some sort of collars. Are these collars affecting the unicorns? It isn't on Izzy though. (A/N: Ironic to see how far the unicorns fell from being the upper class ponies to now what looks like, the lowest class) Edit: I was wrong about the collars but the scene is still depressing

3. AD PLACEMENTS RUNNNNNN

Overall, I had a fun time watching this trailer. Now there are some things I don't like about the coming movie, 2 things really.

1. Ad placements as shown above

2. The lack of background. Towards the end of the trailer we can see our 5 main characters standing on something and then dropping down. This reminded me too much of Trolls and their lack of background.

Of course, more good things over the bad.

1. The animation looks gorgeous

2. The voice acting is awesome, especially for Izzy, Pipp and Hitch. (Not saying the others are bad)

3. The jokes. I especially liked the ones where Hitch was "saving" the child and the one where Sunny goes savage.

Overall, I like it. I really do, and I'll give generation 5 a try. But some things still worry me, like the storyline. Other than that, count me hyped.

Comparison time to other movies comparing from best to worse case scenario:

Best case scenario: Zootopia
Reasoning: The animation looks gorgeous and the cities reminded me fondly of Zootopia. Both have themes of racism and I hope the MLP movie doesn't have a poor twist villain.

Middle Case scenario: Trolls
Reasoning: It might be not good, not bad, but generic and I can already see the MLP movie bursting with generic pop songs. And also for reasons above.

Worst Case scenario: The Emoji Movie
Reasoning: It can be a huge ad without a meaningful plot
