So, this episode was something that came as a surprise in regards to the stakes involved. Trixie in particular showed that her grudges was turned into something much darker as she was being corrupted by the alicorn amulet. Not only did she make Snips and Snails perform hard labor she was basically enslaving every pony to her bidding and was becoming a tyrant. Also, this episode has given me a lot of ideas for stories, in terms of Twilight actually performing a gender swap spell on accident and Trixie turning younger. Overall, I think the end was a bit rushed as I was hoping Trixie would come to terms more so in how the alicorn amulet was actually overriding her behavior. A good comparison is the one ring from lord of the rings. Gollum, Bilbo and Frodo Baggins all felt the pull to keep and hold the one ring and couldn't let it go. They were becoming corrupted with Gollum having gone through the worse of it to the point he had two personalities battling each other for control. I feel that in my opinion Trixie wasn't really Trixie anymore and this amulet could've been a good plot device for another episode. In this sense I think she could've realized the danger of this amulet and I think it would've been cool to see her and Twilight go and destroy it to ensure it can never be used again. But, that's just my take on it. Overall fun episode, and I do rather enjoy this one seeing the animators take the wheel with the two duels.

So...I'm not sure but I don't think Trixie turned Snips and Snails back to school colts lol
I think it was funny for that the concept of Twilight turning Applejack into a stallion was something that actually happened lol I made a whole story about that and it was so much fun.
Zecora really shined in this episode giving Twilight some much needed advice and was essential to twilight and her friends defeating Trixie.
That amulet really messed with Trixie's head.
Well put!
Just because, here's something cute-ish.
