Vacation, all I ever wanted...again... · 1:36am Jul 25th, 2021
Today started the second of my two non-consecutive vacation weeks. I regret to say that I didn't get everything done today that I wanted to do, but that's less on me and more on circumstances due to others. Was hoping that my ex would totally clear everything out of her room, but alas, she only had the time and ability to clear out one big tote's worth of stuff. Which is better than nothing, but there you are.
That being said, I did some cleaning today, I watched the first episode to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and I am pleased to say that more work has been done for the next chapter to Tales from a Double Date, including the introduction of a character that I've been looking forward to bringing into the Quiververse properly for a while. They aren't a canon character, but they have been mentioned in an earlier story and they are linked to Sunrunner.
I'm confident that I'll get more writing done over the course of this week, though things are still looking to be kinda busy. Dentist appointment on Monday, consecutive vet visits for the cats on two separate days (one kitty going in for surgery, the other for a routine thing that's far less nasty), and hopefully seeing Black Widow on Thursday (assuming I can order the dang tickets online). One thing that likely won't be getting done, alas, is shelving for my Transformers...two years I've been waiting on this, and it looks like it's going to be even longer...
Still, one way or another, you will see something new from me come next Saturday.
