It is with a sad note that I say this story is now being cancelled. I've thought about this these last few days as I've pondered the idea of a rewrite for it, only to have even the momentum for that at this time come to a crashing and grinding halt. Right now it seems that I just have very little motivation to write much of anything aside from roleplays (and even then some of my motivation for that has been swaying up and down the scale). At the end of the day though with all my pondering for it, I just find myself in a situation where at the moment at least, I can't get myself to write further, and giving the impression it may someday possibly perhaps ehhh kinda maybe update or be rewritten is honestly, not something I wish to do.
This was, ultimately, an experiment for me, and one I'd like to try again at in the future. While I haven't had much momentum at the moment for the idea for the rewrite, I think that perhaps further down the line when i am more motivated and up to the challenge, that I shall take another stab at a Harry Potter and My Little Pony Crossover. When I do so, I shall make sure a number of things.
1- I shall make sure it is the ONLY thing I'm actively working on.
2- I shall make sure I have several chapters already written so I can have a backlog.
3- I shall endeavor to not let anything drop a wall on the momentum once I've got it going.
To those of you who have faved the story and left comments- you have my sincere appreciation. There are some things I shall keep from this story for a future one, and I hope that when I get around to trying again that you'll be up for seeing what I've come up with. I do apologize to those who hoped I'd finish this, but at this current time it seems I wasn't up to the task. If I do wind up tackling an HPxMLP crossover again, I hope to be better prepared for such.
