My Father Has Passed · 11:13am Jul 13th, 2021
July 12, 2021 at 730PM AST, my father passed away in the hospital with my mother at his side. He had fallen and went to trauma the day before but was looking good on his recovery after they got some blood into him. He had been up and about during the day and said he felt great. He got to see his grand kids 40 minutes before he passed without knowing. We stayed at his side for two hours once we got word and had our resolutions, the day before we said our goodbyes just in case.
For now all my works are on hold as I mourn the loss of my father as he was the man who taught me many things. His last gift that he taught me was his favorite drink from when he was younger. I still hope to learn more about him from his friends, my family, and from old photographs.
2 Years ago I had a feeling in my gut that called me to my grandfather's grave, my father had the same feeling as well. I believe it was a sign of what was to come for the both of us. For my father to pass, and for me to be the one to lay him to rest. I will be his pallbearer along with my brother when it comes to his funeral. I have great memories and bad ones as well. I am now head male of the family as the eldest, and I will not forsake any of my family either come better or worse. They mean more than the world to me, more now than ever.
All I ask is my privacy be respected in this time and things will return at some point. For now I wish for peace to be one with my mind and memories.
