Firefly and Feathered Hearts releases in rear view mirror...

Thanks to all who read and a warm welcome to those who came aboard! Please comment, folks, as I’ve seen only one so far on the new Feathered Hearts chapter as of this blog post.

With those releases behind me, the question, as always, becomes what to work on next. I believe I’m going to continue splitting my efforts between them for the time being, as Firefly deserves some more attention after having languished for five months, especially as we near the four-year anniversary of its launch on September 1st.

Coming Firefly attractions (in addition to the continuing action of the Equestrian Army) include the Captain Typhoon/Nightborne negotiations paired with a check-in with the Highborne, the confrontation the following day between Fell Flight and Firefly, and the second part of the Changeling exodus chapter started by the departed and sorely missed Denim_Blue. The last one is going to be difficult for me to write, because that was his lore and not mine. But I’ll do my best, and also bring Lyco into the main story in due course.

As for Feathered Hearts, I admit to waffling on whether I can proceed directly into editing the original chapters again or if there should really be one final new chapter to complete the transition back first, showing what happens when the rest of the gang wakes up from their cider-induced slumber. I’m leaning towards the latter right now, but I’ll have to think about it a little more first.

Whatever comes next, I’ll aim to have a new chapter ready within three weeks--work permitting. And yes, I will do another side story chapter before too long, but probably not right away, as my mindset is more geared towards non-clop, at least for now.
