Believe it or not, I actually got some chores done today.

And that's saying something, because if Diablo IV was this good at any point last year, it would have definitely been near the top of my Best Games of 2023. You know, instead of being omitted entirely.

So let's just say that Armored Core VI absolutely just got smacked out of the running for Best Yesteryear Game.

    Updates and Such

Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.

Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.

I'll seriously try and make this my last Sonic-related blog for awhile. · 12:11am Jun 27th, 2021

I listened to the Sonic Symphony again while I was putting away the truck at work this morning, and tried to decide on my favorite orchestral piece from the first half of the show. I really think it's going to be this one.

These phenomenal renditions of these two iconic songs came the closest to making me tear up on Wednesday.

Also did another tool-assisted score run of Sonic 3 & Knuckles this week for the 30th anniversary, attempting to beat my August 2017 record of 2,266,030.

I got that and more.

I also managed to 9:59 glitch every single boss in the game except for Lava Reef 2, which I honestly believe has way too many variables to be humanly possible. Didn't get it on the last one either because I was too excited to have crossed the 4-million mark.

Also, if you missed it on Wednesday, and want to see the entire thing, here's the whole 2-hour 30th Anniversary Symphony. It is seriously a perfectly crafted love letter to a devoted, dedicated, and passionate fanbase.

Alright, that's all for now. I'm going to go write some more.
