TOH Season 2 premiere · 3:33pm Jun 14th, 2021
Welp, here I am, almost half a year since my last post, two days after the official release of the first Season 2 episode of the Owl House, and my first thought: WELCOME BACK OWL HOUSE CAST!!! 
Despite spoilers and promos leaking everywhere and threatening to disrupt the fun, I stayed away from social media and waited patiently, and it was worth it! Separate Tides was more than I could have wanted for a nice start into the next season 
ATTENTION READERS, SPOILERS BEGIN HERE! IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE FIRST EPISODE YET AND WANT TO AVOID SPOILERS, EITHER SCROLL DOWN OR CLICK OFF RIGHT NOW! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Separate Tides, taking place one and a half weeks after Young Blood, Old Souls, revealed us the current situation and whereabouts of the cast, as well as answered a few questions regarding headcanons created in the fandom about continuity (at least for me): Lilith is staying at the Owl House and even has somewhat formed a friendship with Hooty, no portal equals complete cutoff from the Human Realm equals none of Luz's messages getting through to her mom, and since Eda is no more considered a criminal and Lilith is no coven leader anymore they apparently... lost respect of all the citizens and Belos is spreading more propaganda than before (have you seen the statue? Sheesh, ego much? 
) Oh, and no human trash to sale, so odd jobs it is, dangit 
And who is that mysterious, apparently prodigious, conceited, cocky, golden-masked hombre who could secretly be Spiderman's evil counterpart? (No seriously, the way he played with King when the latter was locked up in a bird cage of all things... this has Peter Parker/Spidey written all over it, no offense to all the Spiderman fans out there 
). He's definitely gonna be a big threat in the future, and maybe even a match for our bacon-haired protagonist in my MLP crossover (as in rival match, not ship match, not gonna go there... probably 
).
And be honest, who cooed at Luz's pirate costume? I sure did! And look how much her prowess with glyph magic has improved since Eda's near-petrification: An ice-boat with fire propulsion? A Selkidomus imitation made of vines? Genius! Estoy tan orgullosa de ti, mi pequeña bruja humana

All in all, thank you Dana & Co. for this wonderful premiere, keep rocking and I can't wait for Escaping Expulsion next Saturday. And those who haven't seen Separate Tides yet, go ahead and watch it 
And now, back to business! I have a crossover to write! (And chores to do

I actually like the kid, despite beign annoying. He was more misguided or just following orders of the emperor. I have a feeling he would help Luz at some point and turn his back on the emperor.
Also looking forward to the next chapter just like I looked forward for the season 2.
I don't watch TOH, but I do love your fic.
