Season 10 volume 1

Hey, it's been a while, hasn't it? Ever since the show ended, I've been taking a break from pony, preferring to focus on other things. However, I just read the first issue of the season 10 comic, and I just have to say it is amazing. Just like the Dark Horse comics continuing Avatar the Last Airbender, the IDW comics continuing MLP:FiM does a great of job expanding upon where the show left off. For starters, after ten years, the comic finally expands upon Zecora's story, and not only does it explain a lot about Zecora, but it's also a very heartwarming story as Zecora reconnects with her old friends and confronts her past. Not to mention the story also builds up an interesting mystery that will be explored in later comics. There's also another heartwarming story about Scootaloo. It's short and sweet, giving us some more adorable antics with her parents, Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood, and her aunts, Holiday and Lofty. This is an adorable side of Scootaloo that needed to be explored more. I hope to see more side stories about the rest of the main characters' families and friends. I don't know what else to say, but I can't wait to get volume 2.
