So who the heck is still here?

Man... just over 2 years since my last blog post -- and since that Aria/Rarity labor-of-love.

Been focused on a lot of other interests, including gaming (looking at you, Genshin), but I'm still making some very slow progress on another fanfiction work; one that's quite a departure from my other themes to date. Still not sure if it's a good idea to hype it too much in advance, since it's still a long ways off (4 of 11 chapters written, but the whole plot is laid out, probably ~100k words by the time it's finished). I'm in a mood today, though, so here's the 'cover.' A swell of interest might also motivate me to work a bit faster (lol).

Cover art is from an unrelated character that I copied and "Shimmer-fied" in Inkscape. When I saw the OG artwork, it lit the creative fire that spread into this current project. https://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=55779244

This is a bit more gritty than my past stuff (and there's one of you here who's already seen a peek at the first couple of chapters, heh). And...while this wasn't on my mind when I started typing, it crossed my mind just now that if anyone reading this is an experienced, critical and interested narrative editor, I'd be down to get another set of eyes on the WIP.
