Did anyone actually ask for this?

So apparently Playtonic is remastering Yooka-Laylee.

Who asked for this? Who thought this was a good idea?

    A few things, Playtonic:

    1. This game is only seven years old.

I have an excuse for not being able to aim straight.

Will try and get an update or two out soon, but...

...These next two weeks at work are going to be stressful as hell.

I just have to say one thing, just to get it off my chest.

If any of my readers are private health inspectors with standards higher than local laws, I just have this to say:

    That is all.

    Good night.

    Tell Your Tale: P + P = BFFs

This week, we've got a... Somewhat touching Posey episode?

Think this would benefit from a longer runtime. I also laughed harder than necessary at Izzy in the very beginning.

Kindred Pairs - Chapter 8 · 4:58am Jun 2nd, 2021

So much of this chapter was written on a whim over the last 26 hours, after getting some help honing some finer plot points with readers and long-time Digimon fan authors.

I really don't think I can claim I've improved so drastically from my early days if I don't bring in as much of the supporting cast as I can. Fourteen years ago, I went so far as to kill off characters simply because I didn't want to write them. Ugh... Man I sucked back then. :facehoof:

Thanks for reading, and thank you for reviewing!

It really depends on the story, but yeah, like you said, it's good to bring in the supporting cast also. They can come in handy if you need catalysts for things. But you also don't want to bring them in and then do nothing with them. If you're going to bring them in, they need to affect the story somehow.
But again, it depends on the story. If this is a straight-up slice of life whose only purpose is that it just peeks into the lives of the characters and doesn't actually go anywhere in terms of some major, overarching plot, then it's just fine.

Most of it's gonna be slice of life, yeah. But it is leading up to what I'd assume most of my readers are looking forward to - the reunions.

I'm really wondering if I can pull that off. As nervous as I am about writing three to seven (I'm not touching Ryo. Screw that canon-hopping macguffin-carrying bastard.) separate instances of hugging and crying, I really think that's what would happen.
