Some updates

So yesterday I saw a post on /r/mylittlepony titled Writing Snippets, and the idea of the thread was basically just to write a fanfic scene. Well I had an idea for a flashback chapter for Silver Sparks kicking around in my head, and decided to get some of it down. You can read it here, but don't consider it canon yet.

Also, for the hoofful of people who paid attention to me years ago for my other story, Midnight Vigil, I finally have news on that, and I'm really sorry for keeping quiet about it for so long. The short version is I lost access to the Google drive account where I was keeping all my notes, and that sort of killed my motivation for it. But! Recently I managed to get them back, so I'm planning on updating it... eventually. I'm probably going to write another chapter or two of Silver Sparks first. Oh, and if you're planning on re-reading the first chapter to refresh your memory, don't bother just yet. I'm gonna re-write it at some point. I mean, present tense, seriously? What was I thinking?

Oh, I should probably include a cute pony picture, right? That's what Admiral Biscuit always does. Well, a while back I heard of something called 'mermay', and as far as I can tell it's about doing art of mermaids during may. That got me thinking about seaponies, which gave me some ideas. I've also been playing a lot of Genshin Impact lately, which led me to come up with this.

There's another chapter in the works, but I've only got one scene done so far, so it's still going to be a while. Also, I thought I mentioned that in the blog but I did not! Whoops.
