FireRain has possibly been compromised · 12:01am May 26th, 2021
Well, according to my sessions, somebody - possibly a few somebodies - have managed to get onto my account through devices that aren't any I currently own and also have logged in from both phones and computers that are not in my area.
I haven't noticed anything being changed on my stories, within my blog posts or general set up for my page and links, but I could easily have missed one or two things that may be small enough to go unnoticed by me. That being said, if anybody notices anything that doesn't sound or look right, or if you know me well enough to know what I would and wouldn't do and find anything suspicious, please let me know!
I'm not sure what that means or if I'm in any potential risk or danger of losing personal info, but if my password is now jeopardised, that's pretty bad for me.
Not sure how people can get that kind of info from me, but it's info I don't want shared or known about me and my personal life, so I think it's time to make some changes.
Anybody else having trouble with this sort of problem?
It’s always a good idea to change you’re password at least once per day or change it every time you log in and out
Does your password autofill? Because if so, someone could just go to Fimfic on your device (even accidentally) and just log in. Happened to me with Facebook back in the day.

It does because I'm on a Mac. Although, nobody has had a chance to get on my laptop since it's always in my room and I always make sure it's locked before I leave it. Anything is possible, I suppose. I highly doubt anybody in my home would have been near it, they wouldn't have had much chance to because I hardly ever come off it.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to change a few of my passwords to be extra safe. Also thinking of deleting certain accounts in case.
You could turn on two-step authorization. That should make it much harder to compromise your account.
