Climbing Mountains - An Interview With TheKMExperience. · 3:29am May 19th, 2021
I was lucky enough to get an interview with TheKMExperience , a true spark of warmth on this mountain we call life. So without hesitation we found ourselves a cozy little space at the base of our current summit.
A summit that is Positivity.
It's not always easy to bring a sense of hope to the world, but as we sat down to chat and the bonfires of friendship burned, he sure did make it look easy.
"Thank you, Mr. KM for agreeing to be my first Interviewee in a series about Inspirational people!"
"You've taken time to help me feel welcome on the site, many forget how much that a few kind words can mean."
"Anyways to start off a bit casual, What inspired your username? "
KM.
My name just randomly came when creating an account on my PS4 and I decided to do the same here.
KM is my initials btw.
Side note: buckle up, I'm gonna be bringing up this person quite a bit.
"Ps4 is always fun, maybe I can add you sometime? "
"Ok? Buckling up then."
"Next question, What gave you the drive to spread such positive vibes?"
KM.
The reason why I want to spread more positivity is mainly 'cuz of my girlfriend on this site, Forgetful.
She's always been so kind to me and kept my spirits high, I wanted to give others that same feeling and over time, it feels nice hearing others say I made things feel brighter for them.
*Smiles Brightly *
"She sounds like a really lucky girl, she must be energetic to keep up with your active personality! "
"Always nice to have wind under your wings, makes climbing that personal summit that much easier."
"Do you have a personal favorite story on site that filled you with good vibes?"
KM.
Not one that I could think of, I honestly haven't read any stories in a long while.
I read through a few of Forgetful's stories when she wants to hear if it's worth publishing, but other than that, not much.
"I might have to check out her writing sometime. "
"Honesty is always welcome here."
"Moving on, Some might say that spreading positivity is just a ploy for attention or a quick way to climb stats, what do you say to those thoughts?"
KM.
Not gonna lie, about 40% of my time here when I first made an account has been me desperately trying to get comments and followers and all that.
But eventually, I learned to appreciate the love of my sweetheart more than anything.
"That's so heartwarming to hear, she must be special to give you such hope and happiness. "
"I think we're all in search of that attention to feel seen, but you're wise to state that in the long run, all we really need is that warmth from the people we love!"
"Next question, I've seen that some people on site just don't quite get the messages of positive reassurance you're trying to spread, does that ever slow you down or have you rethink your passion?"
KM.
It does bum me out when those select few either "don't agree" or flat-out get offended by my kind words.
I remember one douche here went on this overanalyzing rant saying how my words "don't make their day better" and called me a "manipulative a-hole".
People make things more complicated than it needs to be.
*Annoyed sigh*
But I just roll my eyes and stick with those that do appreciate my efforts.
"I suppose some just don't appreciate good-will these days, it's sad when others seem offended by a message of hope, but I guess misery does love company."
"I personally think you're a diamond in the rough, not many would nay could stick beside such a positive message for so long, it's very well inspiring!"

Awww, that means a lot!

"Just being well honest. "
"Lastly, any inspirational words to leave us with?"
KM.
Inspiring note? I guess just a quote from Breaking Bad for everyone out there: D.B.A.A.

The embers of the bonfire wafted over the horizon as our time of chatting came to a close, KM a true spirit of harmony if I ever did meet one. As we parted our ways and decended back down the summit, my faith in humanity felt restored.
I wonder what other inspirational people I'll meet on my travels here?
But for the moment, KM showed me that as long as you have friends and a strong will, you will always find a way.
