I think the author meant suggestions for tropes. Speaking of which:
* AlasPoorVillain: Spoiled and Hopper are given this treatment, with Spoiled feeling depressed about having lost her husband and daughter and feeling regret for her actions, realizing that she was abusive of Diamond and recalling her own FreudianExcuse. Hopper is shown to be mourning the loss of his brother and teammates. The two form an OddFriendship and Spoiled is shown mourning for him when he is taken away to be executed.
* OutOfCharacterMoment: Twilight ordering Hopper's execution. You wouldn't expect her to ever be willing to execute someone.
5514958 Darker and Edgier definitely comes to mind because of "Jailhouse Flock" and Hopper's public execution, which is what bumped this fic up to a Teen rating.
