I Feel Burnted Out · 5:10pm May 7th, 2021
After what happened a few days ago, I've kinda just... lost intrest in doing anything. Not sure if it's just from the drama or if it's something else entirely but I'd love to hear your guys/girls insight on what I should do and/or what you want to see and I'll consider it. I still have a lot of stories "done" but don't feel like publishing them (partly due to fear of backlash from what happened). Hope your guys/girls day is going well...
Creative burnout is Natural. Happens to the best of us. Its often a sign of biting off more than we can chew creatively.
As for what drama. What happened? Mind looping me in? I haven't been active in...a while

I hope you’ll get better soon from this shit burnout
Here’s a hug *huggies*
Well there are a few ways you can manage your time until this burnout dimmers:
1. You can start writing a journal. Find a notebook somewhere at home or start one of those new document files on your computer. Then that whole time, you can just do what you do best: Write and write and write. This way, it doesn't have to be something that needs to be shown on FimFiction persay. But you can write as a means to channel everything that leaves you feeling burnt out: Stress, work, family, feelings... all of it. And who knows? Depending on how long it'll take... perhaps you might be onto something.
2. And if Option 1 doesn't work... there's nothing wrong with taking a Mental Health Day... or a week... a month... 'possibly' a year depending on the severity of the burnout. Let's say you need a 'week' just to focus primarily on your mental health. Aside from writing, you can catch up on reading one of your favorite books, find a new hobby to practice, whatever. Anything that keeps you from adulting for, let's say... 'five' days or so, that is a key to a slow, yet remarkable recovery.
3. And if none of those options work... take a long hike. I'm not saying doing the 'Triple Cross of Hiking' or anything like traversing the Appalachian trail or the Pacific Crest Trail or even the Continental Divide Trail. Why just 'one' of those trails alone could take more than a year depending on the motivation to finish (Don't get me started on those who did all 'three' at once, that's something you'd do for 'retirement' maybe). What I merely mean is I'm sure there's a lovely hiking spot in your area, a park where you can just go out, take a walk, play some music on your headphones, and just experience the peace and joy of nature. Away from the drama of the internet and just focus on what makes you... well, you.
